About Director Stacy Shaffer...

Stacy Shaffer has been the Director of Hilltop Nursery School and Daycare Center since 2004. She brings to this position fourteen years of experience in early childhood education.  Having taught in the classroom for years and also having previously worked as a Director and an Educational Consultant for a School Readiness Program, Miss Stacy has a Masters Degree in Education and is a State of Connecticut K-6 Certified Teacher as well as a Certified Head Teacher for children ages three to five. In addition to her responsibilities as Director, she serves as an Early Childhood Educational Consultant for other daycare programs. Miss Stacy is married with three children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, sewing and spending time in outdoor activities with her family (which includes "Daisy Duke" -- her chocolate lab)!
